You wanna know about me? Hah, that's a first. Like anyone wants to know the life story of one of us. They'd rather just pretend we didn't exist, even though we're keeping the whole damn system together. After all, you've always got to have someone to do your dirty work. And that's us. The Demons. Think we had some other name back in the old days when the whole war was still going on, but who cares about them? Call me K, it's probably easiest. I'm a Major on the Ancient Vengeance (I think if you go back in time, I'd have been called a Sergeant), currently on a containment mission. Been fighting for our Covenant my whole life, trying to keep us together and keep the parasites out. Don't think I'm going anywhere soon.

((RP journal; character derives from a AU Halo universe where humanity was absorbed into the Covenant around the time that the Elites should have instead left. Humanity has been forced off Earth; Marines have joined the front-line troops, and Spartans still exist - just in a very different context to before.

K is an example of the Covenant's homegrown 'demons'. Born far from Earth and after most human resistance died down, he's spent his life fighting Heretics and the Flood. He doesn't have a name, just a number - the Prophets don't see his kind as deserving them.

Unarmoured and in his natural state, he stands around six-foot-six and weighs more than he looks, with a number of scars and a rather prominent glyph branded on his back; his violet-grey armour somewhat resembles a sleeker version of the Spartan standard Mark 5 of years gone by. He favours close-range fighting, his preferred weapon being the shotgun.
As a lingering effect from a plot a long time ago, he's slightly psychically sensitive, and particularly weak against the same.
